Fall Outtakes

Hi guys! Frances and Daianne here again. So many things have happened these past few months that we haven't been able to update the blog as much as we wanted. But as proof that we are trying, here are a couple shots we took last fall in an attempt to produce some quality blogging.

We were trying to showcase the beauty of our campus but failed miserably because the sun was not working with us. (We realized too late that noon is not the best time to shoot) Also our laziness to bring a DSLR and tripod all the way down from the hill didn't help our cause either. We probably shouldn't have settled for a point and shoot camera. (Don't worry, we know better next time!)

Weee! So excited to start posting more since we have a little bit of extra time in our hands now. (Except for the fact the midterms are coming up but it'll workout, somehow..) 

"We're finally college students!"

Hey lovelies! Well, college life already started for Daianne and I. We've been meaning to get this blog up and running as soon as we can but a lot of things got in the way. But better late than never, right? We want to share with you guys a glimpse of our first week in the amazing university that is University of California, Los Angeles.

My apologies if I'm mostly the one talking in this particular vlog. We're still trying to get the hang of things but we pretty much had the same week.

To be quite honest, we had our doubts going to this campus. We were scared we don't belong, yenno? We are surrounded by valedictorians, olympic medalists, and world record holders but yet here we are. Zero Week really was an ego booster for both us. Every speaker we've heard and every event we attended kept reassuring us that UCLA saw something in us and that we deserve to be here. Oh god, I should probably stop my drama over here. (Maybe we can talk about that in another post, yeah?)

Anyway back on topic. We spent out first week pretty much exploring the campus and Westwood, familiarizing ourselves and all that good stuff. We tried to participate in as much activities we possibly can especially Bruin Bash. I mean, who wouldn't want to see Tyga perform for free?
